I met Tadhg in 2020 at the Men's Welcome Retreat at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance.
He Loved and lived our Lord and beautifully practiced his faith. He was highly intelligent, and a faithful and good man.
He came up with a newsletter for many parishes, and helped to bridge the gap for many who pondered the Christian faith. He helped to bring more parishes together in Bible study and other ministries, and many other people to the Christian Faith.
He will be missed by many.
"May the Souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in the Peace of Christ".

Ode to Tadhg Farrell
My sympathies to the Farrell Family. He was a true gentleman, looked at the good in things, easy to laugh, and had a solid foundation in his Christian Faith. He once told me " I love to be part of a Christian men´s group and hear their laughter".
One thing Tadhg did that I will be forever grateful for is starting a men´s Bible Study Group called That Man is You at St. Catherine´s church. Many a Theology lesson, moments of laughter, and finding a divine purpose were accomplished. This group continues to this day at Blessed Sacrament church.
One time Tadhg surprised me when I mentioned to him that I had listened to an interesting radio program. It was about how a long series of off & on wars, from 1689-1998, had ended between Protestants and Catholics in Ireland. Because Tadhg was Irish as could be, I thought he would already know the answer. But he played dumb student with me and he asked "So how did the conflict end"? I explained the radio program´s answer of how a Student Exchange Program worked, but before I could conclude, Tadhg had a big smile on his face and interrupted me and said "I did that several times already Mark"! He had maintained a home for Protestant and Catholic Irish students to live peacefully together in Toledo. Wow, what a humanitarian and Christian man he was. He told me later that those students´ friendships lasted with each other throughout the years, and with Tadhg as well. "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God", and Tadgh was a great one.
You are in your well-deserved place in heaven now Tadgh. Thank you for all that you have done.
