Tamara Bennett Obituary

Born December 18, 1959 in Columbus, she was a daughter of the late Francis Allen and Sandra (Conway) Richter. She was a graduate of Johnstown High School, Mount Union College then received her Masters Degree from Ashland University.
Tamara was an educator, serving as a teacher and administrator at Strasburg Schools, Malvern Schools and Heritage Christian School in Canton, She was a member of Zoar United Church of Christ and loved playing cards, watching the Cleveland Guardians and Browns and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Bennett on March 1, 2009. Survived by her partner, David Fitch of New Philadelphia; two sons, Kaleb (Sarah) Bennett of Canton and Konner Bennett of Massillon; a granddaughter, Gianna; two sisters, Malinda (Jeff) Ulry of Johnstown and Pamela Gabriel of Texas; a brother, Charles Richter of Johnstown; and her mother-in-law, Evelyn Bennett of New Philadelphia.
A celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at Canal Tavern in Zoar beginning at 3:00 PM. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements. To share a memory, please visit the funeral home's web site.
