Tamara L. "Tammy" Nick

Tamara L. "Tammy" Nick, age 53, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was born on January 27, 1973, in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Thomas and Margaret (Kozak) Davis. Most recently, she was a cherished teacher at Warrens Elementary School, a role she fulfilled with great passion, helping to shape the young minds of countless children with her innate ability to nurture and inspire.

A woman of deep faith, Tammy was an active member of Queen of the Apostles Parish in Tomah. Her spirit of service and devotion was a testament to her faith-filled life. Those who knew her could not help but be inspired by the kindness and love she extended to everyone in her life.

She is survived by her husband, David, her children, Noah (Cassie), Isaiah, Abigail, and Jonah; her mother, Margaret, and her siblings; Todd (Karen) Davis, Tricia Davis (Kevin Noeldner) and Tim (Megan) Davis.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father Tom and infant brother Mark.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Queen of the Apostles Parish in Tomah. Father Ethan Hokamp will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, immediately following a luncheon will be offered at the parish hall. Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary and vigil service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. There will be no formal visitation on Friday prior to the funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tammy's memory to the Tomah Kindness Community. The Torkelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
