Tammie Wade of West Monroe, Louisiana, was born on December 21, 1965, and passed away on October 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born and raised in West Monroe, she lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and kindness. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved, and she never met a stranger-just a new friend.
She was a devoted mother to her children Jessie Wade and Derrick Rison, and a loving stepmother to Sherry Wade, as well as her late stepdaughters Faye Cunningham and Gail Rowlan. Her grandsons, Aiden and Noah, were the light of her life, and she shared a special, unbreakable bond with Aiden-her best friend and constant companion.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Troy Wade, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership.
She is also survived by her brothers Fred Rison Jr., Ricky Rison, and Donna Lowery, along with numerous coworkers, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Her fur babies, Lucy and Squeaky, were never far from her side, offering her unconditional love and comfort.
Throughout her life, she worked hard and touched countless lives through her service at Cornerstone Hospital, and previously at Holsum Bread Store and Dollar Tree. No matter where she worked, her coworkers became like family, and her kindness left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Her generous heart, loving nature, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Those who knew her will remember her laughter, her love for animals, and her ability to brighten any room she entered.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Kiroli Park in West Monroe, Louisiana. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, laughter, and love in honor of her beautiful life.
"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day - unseen, unheard, but always near."
