Tammy L. Canell

Tammy Lynn Canell was born October 7, 1965 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was fifty-nine years and one month of age.
Tammy was raised in the St. Louis and Lebanon areas and graduated from Lebanon High School. She made her career at Tracker Boats and G3 Boats in Lebanon.
Tammy was preceded in death by her siblings, Brenda Rogers and Danny Houseman.
She is survived by her husband, Butch Canell of the home; a daughter, Karen Canell; a son, Joshua Blain; a daughter-in-law, Korynn Elam; a son-in-law, Brendon Wiles; her mother, Edna Gooch; four sisters, Gina Odorizzi, Sherry Odorizzi, Rhoda Odorizzi and Crystal Odorizzi; one brother, Bobby Harper; and four grandchildren, Zoey Wiles, Abel Wiles, Kase Blain and Isabela Blaine.
Tammy learned about the saving grace of Jesus from her grandmother. She loved God with all her heart and had a deep faith in God. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is walking in Heaven now with her heavenly father.
Tammy was united in marriage to Claude "Butch" Canell on August 7, 1995. Together they have shared over twenty-nine years of many wonderful memories.
She was a very crafty woman who loved making holiday decorations and creating beautiful flower arrangements. She also enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.
Tammy was a very loving and caring person. She took care of her younger sisters while they were growing up and was excited when her own two children were born. Tammy was a great mom, not to just her own children, but she was a mother figure to many. The love she had for her family ran deep.
Words cannot adequately express the impact Tammy has had on the lives of her family and so many others. She will most certainly be remembered for her love of family and her dedication to her loved ones. Her unwavering support will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
