Thomas Raymond Hendrix was born in Lebanon, Missouri on February 25, 1943 to Raymond T. and Nadine Renner Hendrix. He passed away in Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri on Sunday, November 9, 2025. He was eighty-two years, eight months and fifteen days of age.

Tom was raised in the Orchard Hill neighborhood where he made many childhood friendships that lasted a lifetime. Following his time with the Army, he joined the Army National Guard and served a total of over thirty years. He enjoyed a long career with AT&T in Springfield, Missouri for twenty-nine years, retiring in 2001.

Tom married the love of his life and best friend, Donna Rogers. Together they shared lovingly raised their two sons and stood by each other during the good times, as well as the challenging times of life.

He was raised in the Catholic faith and served as an Alter Boy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nadine; his granddaughter, Alexis Dale Barrett; and his sister, Betty Donald.

He loved fishing at Bennett Spring and enjoyed old and vintage cars. He enjoyed going to car shows, and looked forward to visiting casinos. He loved his dogs and being outside enjoying the beauty of the Ozarks.

Most of all, Tom loved his family very much, especially his granddaughter. They brought him so much joy and he looked forward to every moment they could be together.
