Tammy Yvonne Gilbert, 59, of Ideal, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. Funeral services will be private.

Ms. Gilbert was born on November 13, 1966, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Mr. Jerry Randall Gilbert and Mrs. Shirley Fay Hunt Gilbert. She grew up in Macon, Georgia, where she built a life marked by resilience, determination, and versatility. Ms. Gilbert was also a twin, a bond that held special meaning throughout her life. Throughout her career, she held many different jobs, never shying away from hard work or new challenges. Among her varied roles, Ms. Gilbert worked as a private investigator, a bartender, and a housekeeper, each position reflecting her strong work ethic, adaptability, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her willingness to serve in many capacities spoke to her independent spirit and her commitment to providing for herself

Left to cherish Ms. Gilbert’s memory are her siblings, Penny C. Palmer and William Timothy “Timmy” Gilbert (Jency); nieces, Kaitlyn Baugh, Timeyah and Timayah Gilbert; nephews, Ethan and Kyle Palmer; and numerous extended family members.
