Tanya Lynn Gary Jenkins, 63, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 at home surrounded by her love ones. She was born November 20, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, to Johnnie and Lillie Mae Gary, she was later adopted by Mary E. Boykins.
She worked for Tyson Chicken, Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
Tanya enjoyed life, she especially enjoyed crocheting, drawing, dancing, listening to music, cooking, playing cards and dominos with family and friends.
She was always a strong will person and nothing could break her down, she was her families "Superwoman". Tanya Lynn Jenkins Gary, also known as "Little Bit" was the spark her family needed and she will live on in our memories and in our hearts as a very outspoken and very lovable person.
She was preceded in death by parents; Johnnie and Lillie Mae Gary, grandparents; Oscar and Roberta Wilson, siblings; Barbara Martin, Pearl Henderson, Luther Gary, Reginald Gary, Regina Jenkins, Charles Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her adopted mother; Mary Boykin, children; Lamont Gary, Mataba Tucker, Lekisa Gary, siblings; Tynia Gary, Nikki Boykin Cowan, Nina Rena Day, Anthony Gary, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
