Taylor Bailiff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Jan. 16, 2026.
Taylor Lynn Bailiff, lovingly known as "Tay-Tay" to those closest to her, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2026. Though her time on this earth was far too short, the love she gave and the light she shared, will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew, and loved her.

Taylor was born on March 5, 2001, in San Antonio, Texas, to Sylvia B. Olsen and Michael Bailiff. She grew up in Boerne, Texas, graduating from Champion High School, and enjoyed a career as an office manager, working in the construction industry. From her first breath, she possessed a gentle spirit and a soul far wiser than her years. Her wide, expressive blue eyes could light up a room and her enthusiasm for life shown through in everything she set her heart on.

A beautiful, loving, and generous daughter, sister, and friend, Taylor had a deep love for the outdoors and an unwavering devotion to her pets, whom she loved as her own children. She found joy in nature, the outdoors, gardening, rescuing animals and creative hobbies such as pillow hooking and crocheting. Taylor also had an appreciation for all things vintage. Although Taylor was a lovely young woman, she possessed an old soul with the kindest of heart. Taylor had a rare way of making the world feel better simply by being in it.

Taylor was truly a showstopper. Her towering presence and beauty, paired with her warm smile and radiant personality, naturally drew people to her. Yet it was her heart that left the deepest impression. She always made time for those she loved-especially her sister, her mother, and her extended family. Taylor loved fiercely and remained loyal to the core.

Taylor is survived by her mother, Sylvia B. Olsen; stepfather, Rusty Olsen; father, Michael Bailiff; stepmother, Nancy Bailiff; sister, Courtney Bailiff, her cherished nieces, Oaklee and Steely, and her nephew, Stetson, all of whom were deeply loved by Taylor and held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Martha Bailiff, affectionately known as "Mom Mom"; her grandfather, Robert Bailiff, known as "Granddad"; her grandmother, Doris Guilder; and her grandfather, F.D. Sprencel.

In the coming days, family and friends will gather to honor Taylor's life and legacy. Memorial services will take place at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home in Boerne, Texas, Saturday January 24 at 11am. We will celebrate her spirit, share cherished stories, and find solace in one another's company. We invite all who knew and loved Taylor to join us in remembering the joy she brought to our lives and the impact she made in her short time on earth. For those not able to attend, there will be a live streaming option at Ebensberger-fisher.com.

Though Taylor Lynn Bailiff has left this world, her love, her laughter, and her gentle spirit will remain a lasting testament to a life beautifully lived, forever held in the hearts of those she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in remembrance of Taylor by supporting a memorial fund at SACC Transition|Wildlife Rescue https://www.wildlife-rescue.org/donate/ or SA Humane Society https://sahumane.org/donate/ .
