Ted Chavez

On December 17, 2025, Ted Chavez passed away at the age of 56. He was a devoted father to his beloved son, Colin Chavez. Ted was one of twin sons born to Roy and Henrietta Chavez on June 20, 1969, in Houston, Texas.

Ted grew up in North Houston, where he built lifelong friendships and memories. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School as a member of the Class of 1987. He later continued his education at Sam Houston State University, graduating in 1991. Ted spent his entire life in Houston, Texas, a city he proudly called home.

Ted worked as a salesman in the oil industry, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and pursuing his interests. Ted had a deep love for sports, antique cars, and music, passions that brought him joy throughout his life.

Ted was preceded in death by his father, Roy Chavez. He is survived by and lovingly remembered by his son, Colin Chavez; his mother, Henrietta Chavez; and his twin brother, Chris Chavez. Ted is gone but never forgotten, leaving loving memories in the hearts of those who knew and loved him forever.
