Teddy Bayne
Teddy Lee Bayne, 84, of Ringgold went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Teddy was born January 30th, 1941 in Chattanooga to the late Allard Sr. and Seretha Kelley Bayne. He grew up in Pine Hill, TN later moving to Cleveland, TN, California,, Harlan KY and eventually he settled in Ringgold where he resided since 1975. Teddy was a member of the Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ where he served as an elder. He was the proud owner/operator of Fortress/T.L. Bayne Manufacturing Company for 40 years. He was the International Show Car Association Champion with his 1956 Thunder Bird. Teddy loved playing the guitar and gardening.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Linda Bayne; brothers, Allard Bayne, Jr., and Fred Bayne; sister, Patricia Williams.
Survivors include his children, Greg (Angie) Bayne, Donna Gayle Bayne (Mike Purves), and Ginger Bayne Griffith; grandchildren. Jarrod Baldwin, Bridget (Chris) Young, Jaime (Ashley) Stoker, Brittany (Tim) Asbury, Brandi (Barrett) Williams, Marisol "Bella" Griffith, and Maksim "Chip" Griffith; siblings, Peggy Smith and Sharron Baldwin,.9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family, and his beloved dog, Bernie.
Funeral services will be 10 AM, Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Bill Dedmon officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
