Teddy Harold Fragel

Teddy Harold Fragel, 67, of Peoria Heights, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Teddy was born on December 15, 1957, in Peoria to Harold and Zona Cullison Fragel.

He married Mary A. Ludolph on May 4, 1997. She survives along with three sons, Cody Fragel of Glasford, Noah Fragel of Peoria Heights, and Grant (Patty) Ledbetter of Pekin; four granddaughters, Kayleigh, Adrian, Lilyana and Delainey; one grandson, Kian; one sister, Suzie (Steve) Larson; five brothers-in-law, Thomas Ludolph, David Ludolph, Robert J. Ludolph Jr., Roger (Haley) Ludolph, and Joshua (Melanie) Ludolph; three sisters-in-law, Rose Ludolph, Margaret (Mark) Herman, Theresa (Donnie) Driscoll, and many nieces and nephews.

Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law Robert J. Ludolph Sr., mother-in-law Shirley Ludolph, and brothers-in-law, Glen and Dale Ludolph.

Teddy lived a life defined by quiet strength and devotion to his family. Teddy dedicated many years of service to LKQ Keystone Automotive Sales, where his professionalism and commitment were greatly valued.

Outside of his career, Teddy was a passionate outdoorsman, who found joy and peace in hunting, fishing, and experiencing the rustle of leaves, the rush of streams, and the quiet dawn.

Teddy will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him for his gentle spirit and steadfast love.

A service to honor Teddy's life will be on Thursday, August 28th at 11 AM at Wright & Salmon Mortuary, with Fr. Jeremy Freehill officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday at the mortuary, with further visitation 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brimfield.

A lunch will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1010 S. Louisa Street in Peoria.
