Teena Gueringer Goff, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 64. Teena was born on September 3, 1960, in Alexandria, Louisiana, the cherished daughter of the late Cliffton Gueringer, and Jocelyn Dupre Thetford.
She pursued her education at Southeastern Louisiana University, where she not only excelled academically but also showcased her athletic spirit as a member of the tennis team. However, it was in her artistic endeavors that Teena truly shone, as she possessed a remarkable talent for painting and an innate eye for color. Her art not only reflected her creativity but also brought joy and inspiration to all who encountered it. Teena generously shared her passion by instructing art classes for senior citizens, fostering appreciation for creativity and providing a space for expression and connection.
Teena is preceded in death by her parents, Cliffton Gueringer, and Jocelyn Thetford; her beloved daughter, Rachael Goff; her sister, Gail Salter; and her brothers, Cliff Gueringer and Mark Gueringer.
She is survived by her treasured husband of 48 years, William Paul Goff; her devoted daughter, Ashleigh Pulver; her brother, Juan Gueringer; her cherished grandchildren, Kaleb Henderson, Victoria Pulver, Michael Pulver, Michelle Pulver, and Melissa Pulver; and her dear cousin, Jeri Taylor. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Fran Miller for her compassionate care during this difficult time, as well as the remaining members of the Goff family, for their love and support. The family will hold a private celebration to remember and honor Teena's life at a later date. In this time of sorrow, we hold tight to the memories and the love she bestowed upon us all.
