Her mother, Carol Ann Milum, instilled in Tekia the values of family and faith, which she carried with her throughout her life. Tekia's passion for being with her family was unmatched, and she found joy in the simplest of moments, whether it was listening to her favorite songs, embarking on shopping adventures, or savoring her beloved cheesecake.
A lifelong friend to many, Tekia's presence was a source of comfort and inspiration. Her spiritual nature guided her through life's challenges, and she faced each one with grace and courage. Tekia's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and the power of the human spirit.
As we bid farewell to Tekia, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she has left on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
