Terry J. Jackson, 88, of Mentor, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his home. He was surrounded by his children.
Born Sept. 1, 1936, in Cleveland. He married Nancy (Coniglio) in 1957 and together they raised four children. Moved to California in 1974 where he remained until returning to Cleveland upon retiring in 2000.
Terry worked as a produce manager for 20 years in Ohio. Moved to California in 1974 and owned a 7-11 for 25 years.
He was the loving father of Susie (David) Keir, Judy (Tim Piatak) Jackson, Terry (Elizabeth) Jackson and Tim (Julia) Jackson; cherished grandfather of Kira (Luke Kearney) Dounias, Scott Foreman and Brian Foreman; and brother of Ruth (Ray, dec.) McDonough-Gresko and Jeanette (Neil, dec.) Lucas.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth (nee Walsh) Jackson; and brothers, Lenny (Judy) Jackson and Rick Jackson.
Family will receive friends Friday, April 25 from 5:30 - 7:30p.m. at The Abbey of Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home). Please note updated visitation information. Fr. Tim Plavac will lead a funeral service at 5:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
