James P "Jimmy" Molnar ObituaryJames P. Molnar Jr., affectionately known as Jimmy, passed away peacefully at his residence on June 30, 2025, at the age of 65. A lifelong resident of Willoughby, Jimmy was a truly one-of-a-kind man whose quiet strength, hardworking spirit, and offbeat charm left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Born on February 16, 1960, Jimmy was the son of the late James P. Molnar Sr. and is survived by his loving mother, Tena Martin. He also leaves behind his brothers, John Molnar and Mike Molnar, many nieces and nephews who adored him, and his cherished feline companion, Kitty.
Jimmy dedicated many years of his life to honest, hands-on work. He spent 27 years in the vegetable department at Pick-N-Pay, later worked as a custodian at Kirtland High School, and most recently contributed his skills as a maintenance worker at J & M Industries. He took pride in doing things the right way, often with a quiet grin and a firm belief in keeping life simple.
A true craftsman at heart, Jimmy had a special talent for woodworking and found joy in creating with his hands. He enjoyed his solitude and believed in the value of a quiet moment with a cold beer-especially his favorite, Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Jimmy's unique personality, unwavering work ethic, and deep loyalty to those he cared about will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, July 9, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at The Abbey of Willoughby, located at 38011 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby, OH, on the grounds of the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests raising a beer in Jimmy's memory-just the way he would have wanted.
To to the family or in memory of James, please .
