Teresa Ann Kraus was born in Houston on August 2, 1957 and was taken to be with the Lord on September 7, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Bill and Trudy Williams, stepmom Bobbie Williams, brother Billy Williams, and daughter Kristin Kraus.
She is survived by husband Patrick Kraus, son Tommy Joe (Katherine), Thompson (Brandi Smith) and their children Tessa, Josie, Shealeigh and Layni Thompson along with Kristin’s children Destiny Kraus and Savannah and Stephen Aguilar. She is also survived by great-grandson Lorenzo Lee, sisters Cathy and Rae Williams, stepsisters Sharon, Linda, Debbie, and Jennette along with many nieces and nephews.
Teresa had a huge impact on many as she worked in the respiratory care system in many different branches and hospitals while also finding a passion for teaching. This became her greatest joy; she loved seeing the success of students in her eyes knowing that she was able to guide so many people in the career of respiratory.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon, Friday, September 13, 2024 at Winsteads’ Funeral Home, 500 Wildcat Drive Portland, Texas 78374. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 10am. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to Driscoll Children’s Hospital as that was her pride.
