Born June 16, 1943 in Canton, she was a daughter of the late Esler "Sam" and Helen (Nelson) Painter.
She was a graduate of Hoover High School in North Canton. Judith, along with her late husband, formerly owned and operated the Cider Mill in Zoar. She was an active member at Zoar United Church of Christ and a member of the Zoar Community Association. She was quite well know for her cooking and catering various events. She also held cooking classes at Buehlers. Judith loved nature, gardening, flower arranging and animals of all kinds.
Her husband Ralph Kraus preceded her in death on August 28, 2022. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Duryee of Columbus and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2:00PM at The Zoar United Church of Christ with Pastor Daniel Grimminger officiating. The Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar is handling the arrangements. To share a memory, please visit the funeral home's web site.
