Teresa Riggs Myrick

Teresa Riggs Myrick, 61, of Littleton, NC passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native of Maysville, North Carolina and was born on September 26, 1961. She was preceded in death by her father, Franklin Daniel Riggs.
Teresa was a faithful member of Enterprise Baptist Church for 30 years. She was the pianist for many years, served on various committees, and particularly enjoyed serving with the children's ministry. She was always willing to help with any church functions as the Lord led her to do. She was a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy. Teresa worked as a physical therapist and spent her entire 37-year career in the Roanoke Rapids area. She also had a love for flowers and gardening.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Tommy Myrick; her daughter, Ashley Vaughan and her husband, Chase of Littleton, North Carolina; son, T.J. Myrick and his wife, Jordan of Wendell, North Carolina; her three grandchildren, Tripp Vaughan, Rylan Vaughan and Reese Myrick; her mother, Sonja M. Riggs of Maysville, North Carolina; her sister, Lisa Stevens and her husband, Peter of Grimesland, North Carolina and her brother, Kevin Riggs of Maysville, North Carolina, along with many aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 2PM at Enterprise Baptist Church, 404 Enterprise Road, Littleton, NC 27850, with Rev. Chris Snead officiating.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Church Cemetery at 136 Calvary Church Road, Littleton, NC 27850.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
