Teresa Riojas Obituary

Teresa was a woman of great faith, whose love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life. She had a servants heart to serve God, family and those around her. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled, and she was truly the rock that held them together. She was the ultimate domestic engineer who loved gardening, cooking, baking, household organization and in her later years a quest to learn more about Yahshua. Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Ernest Riojas. She is also survived by her daughter, Vanessa Riojas, and her son, Amador Ernest Riojas (Katie Helen). Teresas grandchildren, Dylan Riojas, Nolan Riojas and Maisie Riojas, were the light of her life. She treasured every moment spent with them and leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be held close to their hearts.
Teresa was also blessed with a large and caring extended family. Her siblings, Amador Palomo (Lucilla) Gloria M. Horvath, Rose Palomo (Michael McKinney), Esther Palomo-Meska (Robert) were an integral part of her life. She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, who will always remember her kindness, wisdom and her being our family Matriarch.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Epifania Palomo, as well as her sisters, Michaela Palomo and Maria Juanita (Jenny)Sarabia.
A gathering of family and friends will take place February 12, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch (13017 William Dodson Pkwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234).
The service to honor Teresas life will be held immediately following at noon.
She will be laid to rest at Sparkman Hillcrest in Dallas, TX following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Harvest Ministries at firstharvestchurch.org
