Funeral services for Teresa Sharon Pegg Farnam, 60, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at West Lake Baptist Church, 2587 LA-163, Doyline Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will be held at West Lake Baptist Church Cemetery in Doyline, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Michael Sanders.
Teresa was born on July 14, 1964 in Savannah, Georgia to Raymond and Jane Pegg and passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was a dedicated, hardworking woman with a strong work ethic that helped provide for her kids. She was a longtime resident of Doyline, Louisiana. She worked for CDS Dental Studios for over 20 years, where she had a close relationship with her coworkers. She was an animal lover and found true friendship in her favorite dog, Man. To know Teresa was to love her, and she will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pegg. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Jane Pegg; son, James Michael Farnam, Jr. and wife, Miranda; daughter, Melissa Rae Farnam Newman and husband, Jeff; four grandchildren, James Wade Farnam, Layla Kaye Farnam, Davis Asher Newman and Everett Ace Newman; brothers, Larry Pegg and wife, Andrea, Barry Pegg and wife, Rebecca and James Pegg and wife, Khristina along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Honoring Teresa as pallbearers will be Craig Pegg, Clint Pegg, Chistopher Pegg, Jacob Pegg, Shawn Pegg and Bryan Pegg.
The family would like to express special thanks to Jay and Ashley from Vital Care for their care and compassion shown to Teresa during the last few months.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to West Lake Baptist Church, West Lake Baptist Church, 2587 LA-163, Doyline Louisiana 71023.
