Alan Clark Funeral ServicesTerri Deann Howell (Drain), was born on August 2, 1966, in Springdale, Arkansas. Terri lived a life marked by resilience, devotion to family, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Terri was the beloved daughter of Jerry and Sandra Drain and grew up on a farm where she developed a lifelong passion for nature. From an early age, she embraced the joys of rural life—hunting, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and camping were among her favorite pastimes. Often affectionately called “tomboy”, she delighted in sharing stories of her childhood adventures on the farm. These memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
On April 10, 1997, Terri married her best friend and the love of her life, Jessie Ray Howell. Their union was one of deep companionship and mutual respect. Together they built a loving home filled with laughter and unwavering support.
Terri was a devoted mother to Jeremy, Kimberly, Jerrod and Cassandra. Although Jeremy and Kimberly passed before her far too soon, she carried in her heart their memory and talked of them often. After Kimberly’s passing, Terri without hesitation stepped into the mom role for Kimberly’s children Paige and Josh. Her pride in her children was evident in every aspect of her life—she instilled in them the value of hard work and was always their most enthusiastic supporter.
Her role as “Grandma” brought Terri immense joy. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren—Kamden, Clayton, Keira, Serenity, and Remingtyn— Rarely missing any of their events or milestones, Terri was always their biggest cheerleader—her support unwavering and full of love.
Terri’s work ethic was unmatched. From many years working in the hog industry to later transitioning into medical insurance billing, she approached every job with dedication and integrity. She believed deeply in doing things right and passed that principle along to her children through both word and example.
Terri is survived by her children Jerrod Howell and wife Alainee, Cassandra Burden and husband Correy, Paige Howell and Joshua Andersen; her cherished grandchildren Kamden, Clayton, Keira, Serenity, and Remingtyn; parents Jerry and Sandra Drain; brother Johnny Drain and wife DeDe; brother in law Forrest Billingsly and husband David; numerous cousins; nieces; nephews; and all those whose lives were touched by her kindness and strength.
Terri was preceded in death by her loving husband Jessie, and her children Jeremy and Kimberly.
Terri passed away on November 16, 2025 in Woodward Oklahoma.
A loving mom and grandma with a generous spirit and an open heart, Terri’s legacy of courage and strength lives on through those who knew her best. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
