I hope you are resting in peace in heaven Terri. It was good knowing, and working for you. You were always very knowlegable, and taught me much about science in you field of expertise. If only I could have seen you one last time before you going. I will pray for you Terri Meinking.

I just learned of Terri's passing. and I am most saddened to learn of this.
I have known Terri for a long time-both professionally and personally. We were lab partners during our freshman year at Miami University. Throughout our college years, we were close, and I always was smitten with her.
We kept in contact all throughout our respective professional lives. We were both at Harvard, and spent time together there. Whenever we both were either presenting scientific papers, or attending scientific meetings in the same city, we would always make sure we saw each other. Moreover, when Terri settled in Miami, when I was lecturing there, we saw each other. In fact, I was to lecture in Miami several years ago, and Terri and I had arranged to meet for dinner, but the pandemic cancelled my lecture.
Many years ago, I visited with Terri to her hometown (I believe Green Hills???, Ohio), and her favorite places.
Terri would send me copies of her publications and gave me several textbooks on dermatology where she had a chapter included.
I met her daughter Ramsay many years ago. I remember her fondly.
Terri was a remarkable person--brilliant, kind, sensitive, beautiful, and everything else. Although we didn't see each other often, I will miss her terribly, and she will always be in my heart and mind.
Ramsay-I would very much appreciate if you would contact me so we can chat.

I did not know that Terri had passed away until today. We were faculty members together at the U. of Miami. After I left, I think she moved into my old office, near my laboratory. I remember her as a very kind, soft-spoken person who was very knowledgeable about her field; a true expert. She was often away on some interesting project involving the critical use of ivermectin and on epidemiological research that impacted in a very positive way children in other parts of the world. She truly made a difference. She generally teamed up with Prof. Dave Taplin, who is also gone. They were indeed quite a team. I never met her family, but I offer my deepest condolences.
