Terry Lynn Briscoe

Terry Lynn Briscoe of Cyril, Oklahoma was born on December 28, 1953, to Earl and Raybelle Perkins. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 21, 2024.
Family visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Cyril Funeral Home. A funeral service is planned for 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 24, at Calvary Temple Outreach Ministries in Cyril with Kip Ackley officiating. Interment will follow in Celestial Garden Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Kurt Kinder, Larry Martin, Heath Want, Joe Tom Snider, Danny Briscoe, and Cameron Green. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Hargus and David Atwell.
Terry grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma and graduated from Duncan High School in 1972. She married the love of her life, Bobby Dean Briscoe, in March of 1972 and they were married for 38 years until his passing in 2010. To this union her son, Jeff and daughter, Jennifer, who were both her pride and joy, were added. Terry was most proud of her kids and grandkids and great-grandkids. She never missed one of their sporting events. She was an avid sports fan and was voted "Fan of the Year" for the Cyril Pirates.
She was an active member of Calvary Temple in Cyril. She rarely missed a service, and loved her church family very much.
Bobby and Terry owned and operated Wapco, Inc. and AM Oil until their retirement.
Terry never met a stranger, and she had the greatest smile and laugh. She always kept the most optimistic attitude, even during the worst of her illness. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Briscoe; parents, Earl and Raybelle Perkins; brother, Dwayne Perkins; brothers-in-law: Glen Wilkinson and Johnny Briscoe; sister-in-law, Patsy Davis; and nephew, Terry Hargus.
Survivors include her children: Jeffrey Dean Briscoe and wife Candace of Chickasha and Jennifer Jill Carlson and husband Ty of Cyril; grandchildren: Micah Briscoe and wife Lauren, Taylor Climer and husband Ronnie, Peyton Briscoe, Kole Carlson, and Averi Carlson; great-grandchildren: Carter Briscoe, Camden Briscoe, Mila Briscoe, and Emrey Climer; sisters: Donna Hargus and husband Mark, Cheryl Atwell and husband David, and Debbie Wilkinson; brothers-in-law: Danny Briscoe and wife Rona, Doug Briscoe and wife Lana; sisters-in-law: Sandra Green and husband Cameron, Teri Fuller and husband Danny Jo, Connie Norton, and Suzi Sikes and husband Marty.
