Terry Dulany, 78, of Mount Vernon, IL, passed away June 25, 2025 at his home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Terry was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on July 7, 1946 to Lawrence and Betty (Cain) Dulany. He married Brenda (Stewart) Dulany on November 17, 1984 in Effingham, Illinois.
Terry is survived by his wife, Brenda Dulany of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; two sons, Brian Campbell and wife Teresa of Opdyke, Illinois and Brad Campbell and wife Julie of Arnold, Missouri; brother, Larry Dulany of Delaware; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, son, Bruce Campbell and infant daughter, Janet.
Terry worked at General Radiator for 18 years and was the manager of Motel 6 for 20 years. Terry was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of Christ. He loved John Wayne and enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball. Terry also served in the United States Army.
A Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM at Hughey Funeral Home on Monday, June 30, 2025 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mr. Justin Odum will officiate. Interment will follow at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois. A Flag Presentation Service will be held by members of the Mt. Vernon American Legion Post 141 at Kirk Cemetery in Ina, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Terry 's honor to Mt. Vernon Church of Christ and will be accepted at Hughey Funeral Home.
