Terry Thomas McMichael, age 75, was born on September 9, 1949, in Detroit, MI, and passed away on August 19, 2025, in Roseville, CA, surrounded by his beloved family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Iris Silvers and Thomas McMichael. He grew up in Montrose, MI, with his sisters Sandy and Linda, and his brother Gary McMichael. Terry attended schools in Montrose and, after high school, enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1970.
After his military service, Terry settled in Sacramento, CA, and attended CSUS, where he met Susan. They were married on June 29, 1974, and shared 51 wonderful years together. They raised two sons, Christopher (Carrie) and Scott (Caitlynn), and were blessed with three granddaughters: Ruby, Kaylee, and Whitney. Terry retired from the State of California.
In retirement, Terry enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. He will be remembered for his ever-present smile and his deep love for family and friends, who were everything to him.
