Terry L. Wuethrich passed away at 4:30 AM at Vancrest of Ada on January 23, 2025, with his family by his side.
He was born on February 5, 1947, to the late Sidney A. and Olive N. Wuethrich.
On May 19, 1969, he married Linda Sparks, and they shared 55 wonderful years. He was a father to son, Casey of Milford Center and daughter, Megan (Shawn) Allman of Ashley. Beloved Grandpa/Paw Wee to Alison (Dyllan Coffey) Allman of Jackson and Hunter Allman of Ashley.
He is survived by his sister Beth Brown of Kenton, sisters-in-law, Judy (Rich) Crawford, Linda Sparks, Jayne Sparks, Cheryl (Greg) Timmons and brother-in-law Dennis (Pam) Sparks. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, Ron Brown, Larry Sparks, Ken Sparks and sister-in-law Madeline Osborn.
Terry was a 1965 graduate of Kenton High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Part of his service time was on the DMZ in Korea during Vietnam. He graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and served many families as a Funeral Director/Embalmer for forty years at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing golf and all types of hunting, especially deer camp in Perry County and fishing. He loved watching his grandson Hunter play baseball and was so proud of his granddaughter, Alison for receiving her RN/BSN and becoming a Pediatric Nurse.
His family was most important to him, enjoying cookouts, fish frys, family and holiday dinners with Christmas being his favorite.
There will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Kenton Senior High School Class of 1965 scholarship or the Union County National Wild Turkey Federation Scholarship (NWTF) 703 E. 6th Street, Marysville, Ohio 43040. Arrangements have been entrusted to the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting stoutcrates.com.
