Our dear mom, Theresa (Tess) Badala (nee Criscitillo), passed from this world into eternal life on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

She began her life in Newark, New Jersey, on March 5, 1925 (yes, she made it to 100!) as a middle child to parents, Frank Criscitiello and Antoinette Bruno. She would eventually be part of nine Criscitiello siblings, Angelo, Lucy, Tom, Anthony, Frank, Sam, Arnold and John; all of whom have predeceased her, being her greatest sorrow to be left last. Also predeceasing her was her beloved Vincent, husband of seventy years. They shared their home in Fanwood, NJ for close to forty years before retiring to the senior community of Greenbriar Woodlands in Toms River. She was devoted to family, home and gardening; her art was sewing. She used her talent as seamstress well into her nineties!

She leaves behind her daughter, Eloise Biniek; and her son, Joseph Badala and his wife, Patricia; and her five grandchildren, Lisa Biniek; Sandra Miller and husband, Michael;

Genevieve Isolda and her husband, Paul; Joe Badala, Jr and partner, Jeff; John Badala and his wife, Jillian; and her five great grandchildren, Jack and Tessa Miller; Amilia Isolda; and our newest little ones, Declan and Liam Badala. These were the joys of her life!

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 10:30am at St Luke Roman Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08755.

A Graveside burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, 1801 Galloping Hill Road, Kenilworth, NJ 07033.
