That A. Vy, who also goes by "Jacky," passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2023 in Philadelphia, PA with his beloved wife and family at his bedside. He was only 45 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Jacky was born on December 8, 1978.
He is survived by wife Shui Feng (Zhan), and sons Jacky Jr. and Ticky.
Jacky is the youngest of thirteen children. He leaves behind five older brothers (Minh, Quang, Hung, Thanh, and Ngu), and six older sisters (Ni, Dini, Tam, Nu, Betty, and Lisa). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews who dearly loved him.
Jacky was predeceased by his parents Sinh and Kieu and his older brother Hung (Simon).
Jacky was a fun spirited, outgoing, cheerful, and loving person, who always lended a helping hand to anyone in need. His personality was so charming that it would light up the whole room, and was always ready to breakdance on the floor. He will be forever missed.
Family and friends are invited to Jacky's viewing on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Geitner/Givnish Life Celebration Funeral Home, 6230 N. 5th St., Philadelphia, PA 19120. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, starting at 8:30 am at the Funeral Home followed by burial service at Oakland Cemetery, Adams and Romana Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
