Theda Joyce Dollar, 85, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Decatur, Texas.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025 at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Interment: Friday, September 12, 2025 in the Springtown Cemetery.
Theda was born on September 15, 1939 in Alma, Oklahoma to Lonnie -Eaves and Ruby (Ratliff) Eaves. Theda married Jackie (Spanky) Dollar on May 14, 1956 in Graham, Oklahoma. Theda was a wonderful Mother and Wife to her children and husband. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. She served as a door greeter at Cornerstone Community Church for many, many years until she wasn’t physically able to do it any longer. She always had a big smile on her face and greeted each person coming through the front door of the church with a big hug.
She is predeceased by her husband, Jackie; her parents, Lonnie and Ruby Eaves; her brothers, Wesley Eaves, Jimmy Eaves, Sr., and Ronald Eaves; sister-in-law, Virginia Eaves; her nephews, Billy Eaves, David Eaves, and Jimmy Eaves, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Perritt & her husband, Stan of Poolville, Texas; her son, Johnny Dollar and his wife Kathy of Cleburne, Texas; her daughter, Karen Mitchell and her husband Gary of Antlers, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; her brothers, Roy Eaves and his wife Peggy of Marlow, Oklahoma and Jack Eaves and his wife Debbie of Rendon, Texas; her sister-in-law, Carol Eaves of Colleyville, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
