Thelma Curry Obituary
She was born on July 6, 1935 in Brent Community, Oklahoma to Pearl Belle (Mainus) Jackson and Ernest "Bud" Raymond Jackson and passed away on May 29, 2024 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Raymond Curry on December 23, 1955 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 5, 2011. She was a housekeeper and of the Assembly of God faith
Survivors are five daughters, Carolyn Sue Butts and Brent of Chanute, KS, Brenda Kay Conaway of Minneapolis, MN, Mary Ann Herrera and Ramiro of Sallisaw, OK, Barbara Mogg and Eric of Chanute, OK, and Teresa Carlson and Kevin of Michigan; one son, Eddie Curry of Sallisaw, OK; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Keith Jackson and Carolyn of Stigler, OK, Billy Jackson and Pam of Roland, OK, and Johnny Johnson and Gail of Marysville, CA; and several other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 11 siblings; and one grandson, Braxton Riffey.
Active Pallbearers will be Trevor Kidwell, Eric Butts, Trenton Kidwell, Kris Gilstrap, and Tyler Carlson.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
