Thelma S. Homonai

Thelma S. Homonai, age 95, of North Versailles, died April 25, 2025, at home. Born September 01, 1929, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Kato) Sabo. Graduated from Duquesne High School in 1948. Thelma worked at Farmers Deposit National Bank in Pittsburgh for 3 years then married her late husband, Paul A. Homonai. They were active in dancing, bowling, and other fun activities, but their true passion was raising their family of four sons. Thelma is survived by her sons, Gary (Carol) Homonai, Dennis Homonai, and Richard (Deborah) Homonai; daughter-in-law, Karen; grandchildren, Tracey (Chris), Dana (Donato), Mark (Karen), Justin (Kelsey), and Matthew; also six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Thelma was also preceded in death a son David Homonai. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A blessing service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
