Thelma Ruth Nelson, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Graveside services will be at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nelson was born on July 8, 1950 in San Angelo to her parents, William Williams III and Thelma Best. Ruth attended San Angelo Lakeview High School. She worked at Ethicon for 18 years. She enjoyed watching baseball and loved being around and raising her nieces and nephews. Ruth was loving, caring, happy and very outgoing.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Katharine Twyford; sister-in-law, Judy Williams; brother-in-law, Hal Don Twyford II; and a niece, Deborah White.
Survivors include her brother, William "Willie" Williams IV; niece, LaMarsha Bailey; and numerous other nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews.
