Theodore Katt Obituary
Mr. Theodore A. "Ted" Katt, beloved by many and known for his big heart and unwavering willingness to help others, passed away at his residence on May11, 2024. He was born on July 16, 1971. In his leisure time, Ted found joy in playing pool, cornhole, and baseball. However, his greatest passion was undoubtedly spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Haley (R.J.) Katt; son, Theodore (Amber) Katt Jr.; two grandchildren, Rylan and Theodore; sisters, Wendy, Lynn, and Peggy; as well as special friends, Justin (Ashley), Randi (Doug), Lonnie; and grand dogs, Frappe and Chino. Ted is preceded in death by his mother, Dawn; and by his uncle, Bob Hammerbacher; and grandmother, Marge Hammerbacher.
Ted will be remembered fondly for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and selflessness that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many with his warmth and sincerity.
Ted's life will be celebrated during visitation services on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 P.M., followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. 7:00 PM at Gephart Funeral Home located at 201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706. in lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family.
