Gloria passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 70. Gloria was born April 12, 1955 in Bay City, Michigan. She earned her associates degree in criminal justice and loved baking, cooking, where she was always feeding and helping people in her complex. Gloria also enjoyed shopping, old movies and was an advocate for stray cats, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Gloria is survived by her granddaughter, Amity Dawn Martens; grandson, Anthem Aaron Martens; mother, Caroline Flores Richardson; sister, Corinne Paul; brother, Robert Paul; special aunt, Natie Owen; uncles, Ed Flores, Ross Flores and Arthur Flores; special friends, Mark Martens, Becky Kiesel, Tina Millitello, Dawn Zaharko and many other family and friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Halstead and her son, Aaron John Martens.
Gloria loved her Lord and went to join her son, Aaron in their eternal heavenly home.
At the request of Gloria, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
