Theodore West Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Oct 5, 2025, at the age of 61. His parents preceded him in death, Theodore West Sr and Jean Marshall West
Born on Sep 7, 1964, Theodore, known affectionately as Teddy Jr, was a man of great character and warmth. He dedicated his life to his family and took immense pride in being a devoted husband to his wife, Kimberly "Kim" West. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. He truly cherished watching his daughter play basketball as if he was the one on the court dribbling & shooting. It seemed like he had flashbacks watching both of his sons play football, regularly jumping out of his seat, running down the bleachers, and screaming his head off when one of his sons made a play or daughter scored a point. He even took classes and was certified to help coach his sons in wrestling. After work or on weekends he would spend time on the football field teaching his sons how to run routes, with speed & agility training or teaching them how to shoot a free throw. If he were home and you walked into his house, he would often have some old school slow jams or up-beat house music on while dancing with his wife trying to get his kids up to dance with him. That is probably where his three kids get their goofiness from. You would get the often, never occasional advice from him with his favorite saying "Be good or be good at it!" His nieces & nephews knew when Uncle Ted was around, always showering them in love and his outgoing, funny personality. His grandkids absolutely loved when their PaPa came to visit, he would always be the first to pick them up and hold them for hours. While working long hours at work, he always made time for his family. That shows what type of man he was, respectable, honorable the type of man you look up too. He will truly be missed but missed for all the right reasons.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly; his dearest daughter Haley Jean West (29), his eldest son Theodore (Aliya) West III (27) grandchildren Auriella Bonita West (7), Jayden Theodore West (5), Mila Evangeline West (11 Months). His youngest son Sean (Brooke) West (24), grandchildren Zaedyn Jacob West (3), Alaiah Nicole West (1) He is also survived by his older sister Vendell Marshall & 3 children and older brother Terry (Jodi) Marshell & 10 children. He had a host of grandnieces & nephews, cousins and friends who cherished him as well.
