Theresa Lynn Gavin, 63, of Albany, GA, died January 15, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Theresa was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA. She was born on July 15, 1961 to Vernon B. and Sara Margaret Gavin. Theresa graduated from Albany High School in 1980 and loved watching Wrestling, playing games on her cell phone and completing word searches. She enjoyed cracking pecans to sell and loved spending time with her grandson, Kaden.
She was preceded in death by her father (Vernon), mother (Sara) brother, ( Mike), sister in law (Patricia) and niece (Shannon). Survivors include her children, Donald “Little Donnie” Robine III, Christopher Lyninger (Taylor) and Zack Lyninger (Heather), Donnie’s father, Donald Robine, Jr., her brother, Mark (Dawn) Gavin, her nieces, Ashley (Kurt) Lamon, Brandi (Mark) Massey and Paige (Ryan) Cunningham and 7 great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Theresa to The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741 or to Shriners Hospitals for Children c/o Hasan Shriners Hospital Transportation Fund, Palmyra Road, 1822 Albany, GA, 31701.
