Theresa Cassels Jameson was born on March 30, 1959, at Eunice, LA to the union of Johnny Cassels and Ira Holmes Cassels. She passed from this life on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia, Louisiana following an extended illness. Her life was a beautiful testament to unwavering faith, steadfast love, and service to the Lord. As an anointed pianist, gifted musician, singer, and songwriter, she ministered to all who heard her play and sing as she dedicated her life to glorifying Him through the gift of music.Terry found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the outdoors. Whether casting a line in the water or enjoying a morning hunt, she embraced the outdoors with delight. She and her beloved husband created a peaceful haven along the Mississippi river, where they enjoyed each others company during their retirement. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend, she enriched the lives of everyone around her. She expressed her love not only in words but also through her kitchen. Her sweet potato pies, gumbo, and homemade dumplings were legendary, prepared with the same care and love that marked every part of her life. She lived fully and faithfully, holding fast to the promise of Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Even in the face of a lengthy illness, her faith did not waver. Her final days became her final mission field, as she continued to witness to others about the love of Jesus to those who came to say goodbye.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ira Cassels; two brothers: Ronald Cassels and Alfred Cassels; five sisters: Iris Cassels, Gwendolyn Cassels, Anita Harrell, Rose Ganey and Brenda Taylor.

Left to cherish her memory her husband: Ronnie Jameson; four daughters: Shanna Glaeser (Stuart), Dena Edwards (Trent), Stephanie Molnaird (Pete) and Karen Davis (Ronnie); her brother, J. L. Cassels (Anne); her sister, Janet Bratton; her grandchildren: Coty Bradford, Jodi Bradford, Zach Banes, Kelsie Barnes, Kristin Moore, Kailie Welch, Kamryn Moore, Jack Glaesar, Claire Glaeser, Spencer Glaeser, Tristin Gagne, Makayla Edwards, Reese Edwards, and Hanna Stricklin, as well as a host of great-grandchildren that she cherished and loved dearly.
