KLEIN, Theresa Marie – of Birch Run, age 75, died Monday, December 9, 2024 at Maple Woods Manor. Mass of Resurrection will be held Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Ss. Francis and Clare Parish in Birch Run, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Thomas McNamara officiating. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run, Michigan. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Theresa was born November 5, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Frances and Lila (Moyer) Kerperien. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Sacred Heart High School with the class 1967. On April 30, 1971 she married Donald Klein in Flint, Michigan. Prior to her retirement in 1999, Theresa was a manager with AT&T with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Ss. Francis & Clare Parish and served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Theresa was also a member of the Altar Society and took care of the flower gardens at the church. She enjoyed bowling on several leagues and attending church events. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 53 years, Donald Klein; Children, Michael (Penny) Klein, Melissa (Steve) Bouvy, Bethany Smith; Grandchildren, Brett Cook, Andrew (Kenzie) Bouvy, Justin Smith, Nathan Smith, Katelyn Klein, Kylee Klein, Logan Bouvy, Leah Bouvy, Ashton Klein, Gavin Klein; Great Grandson, Walker Bouvy; Great Granddaughter, Shiloh Preston; Brother, Leonard (Kathy) Kerperien; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Son, Matt Klein; Brother, Michael Kerperien; Sister, Veronica Robinson; Niece, Theresa Robinson.
