Theresa Mary Savage

Theresa Mary(Pilotte) Savage, 92, of Windsor Locks, formerly of Whitefield N.H,, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital. Born on July 2, 1932, in Dalton, NH, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Leona (Bisson) Pilotte. Her life began on the family farm in Dalton, where she was molded into a strong independent woman, especially when her brothers went off to war, leaving her to help maintain the farm.
Theresa was an Airman's wife and traveled with him and their two children to Japan. There she gave birth to her last child. Some of her fondest memories there were with Mamasan and being on the bowling team.
Theresa worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 32 years at Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, NH, where her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many residents and their families.
Once she retired her sole focus was on her family. She enjoyed gathering around the kitchen table with all the generations. Whether it was enjoying a meal, playing rummikub or drawing. She was blessed to spend many years looking after her great grandchildren who she held dear to her heart.
Theresa is survived by her two loving daughters, Denise Lash and Karin Martin, along with 10 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. She is also remembered by her sister-in-law, Marlene Pilotte. Theresa was predeceased by her son, George Hunt, and six siblings.
