Theresa Rose Snauffer, 87, of Montoursville, passed at home on January 17, 2025.
She was born in Williamsport on January 1, 1938, a daughter to the late James and Nellie (Harkins) Connell. She is the last survivor of 13 siblings.
Theresa was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and a graduate of St. Joseph High School. A homemaker, Theresa spent much of her life caring for and being with her family.
She and her husband, Royce L. Snauffer, were married for 43 years prior to his passing on July 31, 1999.
She is survived by their children, Joan (Frederick Sr.) March of Williamsport, Barbara (Michael) Newcomer of Williamsport, Tim Snauffer of Scranton, Tom Snauffer of Williamsport, Jim Snauffer of Williamsport, Terri (Gary Sr.) Hamilton of Williamsport; grandchildren Frederick (Michele) March Jr., Amber (Ethan) Luse, Becky (Randy) Emerick, Holly (Michael) Doyle, Tara Snauffer (Bill), Nicole Snauffer, Gary Hamilton Jr., Melissa (Justin) Kinley, and Jennifer (Dan) Waugn; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband Royce L. Snauffer, Theresa was preceded in death by her 12 siblings; and son, Joseph Snauffer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701, Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:00am with Father David W. Bechtel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
