Therian Eugene Abrams

Therian Eugene Abrams was born in Thomasville, North Carolina on December 11, 1945 to the late William and Nezzie Tillman Abrams. On October 28, 2024, God called Therian to his eternal rest. "Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days (Psalm 90:14) of knowing him.
Therian graduated with the Class of 1964 from Church Street School. Where he made life long memories and friends. After graduation he enlisted into the United States Army. He received a honorable discharge with four years of services as an Automatic Weapon Crewman, six months of Overseas. He received several awards: Extension of National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and M-14 Riffle Marksmanship. Once he returned home he changed career and become a truck driver. This allowed him to travel the world. After over 40 years of trucking with various companies he retired from Schwerman Trucking.
Therian will be missed for his attributes as charming, funny, hard working, and the family patriot. He loved playing spades and was a avid "Dallas Cowboys" fan.
Therian was proceeded in death by his parents, and one sister, Minnie Hargraves.
Therian leaves to cherish his precious memories to his two sons, Shane (Kenya Daniels) Abrams of Greensboro, NC, and Cornelius (Tonya) Redfearn of Durham, NC, eight grand-children, Taylor, Chandler, Morgan, Emerson, Evan, Tyson, Makayla and Zachery, two brothers, George (Barbara) Abrams and John (Margaret) Abrams both of Thomasville, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
