The family of Thom Boyle Bell, age 96, would like to announce his sudden passing on June 14, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1927, and was the fourth oldest child of Mattie and Less Bell. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, where he excelled in academics and enjoyed playing football. After graduating high school, he married and had three children. Later in his life, he moved to Kent, OH to pursue his passion for art at Kent State University. While there, he obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree.
Thom was preceded in death by his wife, Lita Faye Bell; his daughter, Karen Elise Bell; and his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Bell and Sandra Bell; granddaughter, Kiondra Mason of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Jerry Bell of Southfield, MI; stepdaughter, Lita Dawn Mattingly of Akron, OH; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
