Thomas A. "Tommy" Binns II, age 61, passed away on November 22, 2024. He was born in Akron on October 15, 1963, to the late Thomas and Joan Binns. He was a 1981 graduate from Garfield High School. Tommy was a car guy and always worked in the automotive industry. He loved motorcycles and fast cars. He took pride in his home always working on the appearance of it. Tommy also enjoyed the beach and basking in the sun. His father was a boxer and he continued the legacy. Tommy loved his family most of all. 

He is survived by his wife Cindy Ellis; his daughter Brittany (Kenny) and son Christopher; grandchildren Lilly, Kennedy, Christopher Jr., and Kaisen; uncle Larry (Judy) Patrick; cousins Donny, Tangi, Shannon, Gretchen, and Todd Murphy and family; and best friend Donna (Bob) Coontz; and numerous friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents Macel Patrick, Murphy Patrick, Thomas Binns, and Evelyn Binns; aunts and uncle Delores and Donald Congrove, Shirley Cate, and Beverly and Rodney Murphy.


Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
