Thomas Bridger

Thomas H. Bridger, 89 years of age, passed away on October 21, 2022 at his home in Hoffman Estates, IL with his family by his side. Thomas is survived by his wife, Eileen (McKenna) Bridger, his caring children, Kay (Bob) Fricka, Thomas L. (Paula) Bridger, Diana Spada and Frankie Spada; and his cherished grandchildren, James (Jessica) Cech and Morgan Barone, as well as great grandson, Cael Cech. Tom's sweet daughter Lisa (Bob Guthery) predeceased Tom.
Tom was born in New Windsor, Illinois to Henry and Marguerite Bridger. Henry and Marguerite Bridger had six children. Tom was the only boy and he was doted upon by his family. His sisters and spouses, Nell (Maynard) Greer, Carol (Larry) Kurtz, Bobbie (Pat) Scott, Verna Doake, all predeceased Tom, as well as brother-in-law, Dick Kruger. His sister Iris Kruger and brother-in-law Dick Doake survive Tom, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tom was a proud member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters for over 70 years and he was the master at his trade. You knew Tom was thinking about constructing or tearing down something when he would look around his home and start to whistle, much to the dismay of his wife.
As it was Tom's wish there will be no services. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
