Thomas "Tom" Bristow, age 58, passed away at his home on May 27, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Tom entered greater life in heaven after a brave, hard fought battle with cancer. Tom was a fantastic father who always put God and family first. Tom worked in aviation for over 35 years and was the owner of Cascade Spares Inc. His work and passion for aviation will carry on through Cascade Spares to be continued by his son and dedicated employees of the past 15 years, as well as his daughter who shares his passion for flight. He loved anything having to do with airplanes and automobiles, but most of all, Tom loved to purchase something everyone else thought was junk and turn it into something that would be a blessing. He spent several years coaching travel basketball, enjoyed spending time overseeing construction projects, could be seen jumping out of an airplane with a chute or under the sea in his scuba gear, and passionately followed his favorite sports teams, the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Capitals. Tom will forever be known as generous man that would step in and solve a problem if he could. He strived to leave this earth in a better state than he found it.
He was preceded in death by his father Thomas D. Bristow Sr. and his mother Jacqueline R. Bristow. Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rebecca; children, Rylie M. Bristow and Dawson M. Bristow; and his sister Stacie L. Al-Mahrouq; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and countless life long friends.
Family will receive friends 2-4pm Saturday June 10 at Click Funeral Home Middlebrook Chapel with a service to Celebrate Tom's life to follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider gifts to Knox Area Rescue Ministries (https://karm.org/donate/). KARM is near and dear to the family, and Tom would like to invite you to join in on their mission in remembrance of him.

My deepest condolences to you and your family, Rebecca. I am Daniel DeVita, "Danny" (from Washington D.C.), a very old-time Salisbury State College buddy and best friend of Tom's for many years. I will always cherish our many laughs together, our beach trips, numerous live Capitals ice hockey games, and musical concerts. I will especially remember his cool phrase "Rock on" whenever we said goodbye. God bless.

Very sorry to hear of Tom´s passing and my condolences to his family. I knew him for many years as a smart, focused & driven business owner and I respected his opinions. My best memory of him was at the first ASA conference I went to. One night we ended up drinking waaay too much of some cinnamon liquor and the hangovers were historic. I´d like to think he´s up there watching a ballgame or sniffing around for airplanes. Rest in peace my friend.
