Thomas V. Conwell "Tom", "Tommy", 65, passed away the evening of September 27, 2025 in his Fort Myers home. He was a beloved father and most of all, friend. Tom was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 15, 1960 to parents, Thomas Richard Conwell and Carolanne Carson.

Though he was born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He started playing hockey as a small boy playing in the peewee league. He would spend time and make close personal friends at Baker park. It is there where he created his deepest and longest friendships. This close knit group of friends of latch key kids and neighborhood children would form bonds that lasted throughout his lifetime labeled "The Baker Bums".

He played hockey in high school and took his hockey skills to college where he played at Saint Cloud University. He then went on to achieve his masters at Northwestern University for Business. His professional career started in the insurance business the same as his father.

He married his former wife, Debbie, and welcomed his two beautiful and loving children, Carolanne Camille Conwell and Courtney Kathryn Conwell.

They all moved to Florida in 2003. Tom has lived in Fort Myers for over 20 years, where he met current partner Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Buckley.

He was a first class sailor and owned and raced many sailboats and won several Championships. He enjoyed being on the water on a boat or watching sunsets with Liz. Tom also enjoyed live music. He would have a positive attitude and put a "Tom Conwell spin" to anything to exaggerate an already great story. Tom can always make a friend anywhere he went and would leave a lasting impression that will continue even after death.

Service will be mentioned at a later date. Arrangements for Thomas Victor Conwell are under the direction of Legacy Options Fort Myers.
