Thomas was born on October 4th, 1946, to Stella Francis and Joseph Paul Demid in Manhattan, NY. After Thomas graduated from Power Memorial Academy in 1964. He went on to study his B.A. & M.B.A. at Saint John University in Queens, NY. After graduating with a degree in accounting, he started his first job at Ernst and Ernst, which is considered one of the top ten accounting firms as an accountant, kick starting a 50 year career in finance as a vice president.
In 1964, Thomas met Rosemary at Astoria General Hospital in New York. Thomas and Rosemary went on to have three children, Victoria, Thomas and Donna, and five grandsons. Thomas Jr, Nicholas Michael, Anthony and Tyler.
In 2016, Thomas retired to Sarasota, FL with his loving wife, Rosemary of 54 years. Where they enjoyed spending time together and traveling. Thomas also enjoyed gardening, watching sports and spending time with his grandsons.
Services will be held at Toale Brothers Funeral Home on Sunday, February 12th, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
Funeral mass will be held at Saint Patrick's Church on Monday, February 13th, at 11:00 AM
