On Wednesday January 4, 2023, Timothy Scott Brown, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 63.
Tim was born in Painesville, Ohio to William and Josephine Brown. He was proud of his career as an Air Force canine handler. His second career as a public defender investigator for Okaloosa County, Florida was just as rewarding.
On November 20, 1978, he married Yong Brown. They raised one daughter Jean.
Tim was a best friend and adopted father to many. However, his greatest title was "peepaw". He never missed a jiujitsu practice or day out at Mote Marine.
He is survived by his wife Yong, daughter Jean, son in law Tan, and grandchildren Evelyn, and Tanner. (Though many friends have honorary titles of love.) He is also survived by his loving siblings: Bill, Judi, Jim, and Sharon.
A viewing will be held at Toale Brothers Funeral Home - Gulf Gate Chapel on Wednesday January 11, 2023 from 8:30-10:30. 6903 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34231.
His burial will be at 11:30 at the Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Fraternal Order of Police, an organization Tim has proudly supported for decades. https://fop.net/donate/
