Rochester-
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on January 27, 2024 at the age of 60.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Nancy Donofrio.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debra Donofrio; children, Amanda (David) Ferguson & Nicholas (Jessica Baquero) Donofrio; grandchildren, Makaila & David; siblings, Karen (Scott) Flanagan & Steven (Tammy) Donofrio; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
After a short courageous and brave battle with cancer, Thomas is now the most beautiful guardian angel watching over us all.
Thomas grew up on Dove street in the 10th ward. His family later moved to Conesus Lake where it was the party spot for 4th of July. He Attended Holy Rosary and John Marshall High School. He spent 19 years at Delco, he then shifted his way into the landscaping world, making golf courses look beautiful.
His love for sports started when he was a young kid playing pop Warner football and little league baseball. Tom was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Orioles, Buffalo Sabres and Michigan Wolverines fan, he had every sports package that spectrum offered. If it wasn't the weather channel on tv, it was some sort of sport. During his stay at Rochester General hospital he became quite the foodie, watching the food network.
Tom met his beloved Debbie, Memorial Day weekend in 1988, they were married in 1990 and welcomed a beautiful baby girl 4 months later. Then in 1993, they welcomed a handsome baby boy. A lotta years later in 2008 and again in 2016, Tom was upgraded to PAPA and he wore that title with pride, nothing made him more happy than his grandchildren. He was definitely a devoted family man.
Thomas J. Donofrio, a husband, a father, a papa, a brother and an uncle, now our angel, we love you so very much and we will miss you every single day.
Family will receive friends Saturday February 10, 2024 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm, immediately following will be his service at 6:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.

Dear Deb and family, we are so sorry to learn of your loss. For many years we were close in friendship. As acquaintances and neighbors, we shared many great times through affiliations and your parents. We moved away to FL and, of course distance interrupted that closeness. However, we have so many memories and feel remorse for the family. May God bless you all and soften your grieving period. Rely on those memories to bring smiles and peace to you all. Much love, Bob & Lou Ray

My sincerest condolences and prayers for the Donofrio family...Tom was one of my best friends growing up in the ole' neighborhood. Will always remember all the great times we had, when he owned the blue van...We would pile 15 people in there, and drive all over the place, meet all kinds of people, fun times ! Gonna miss ya, my friend.

Tommy was a great friend to all of us at Delco. We all shared so many laughs together. You will be truly missed.
